If you are a newcomer to our club, we advise you to do 1 to 1, 1 to 2, 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 lessons with players of similar age and ability. This way you will be able to properly learn basic skills and key techniques, establishing a good, concrete foundation that will increase your potential as a high-level badminton player in the future.
Once all the key skills are in place, we will begin developing match (game play) skills by introducing larger group sessions, increasingly demanding drills, and more advanced training methods.
We believe that without having right basic skills in place, having large group sessions could strengthen the bad habits and poor attitudes/behaviors of new players, and as a result limiting their improvement and enjoyment.
If you are interested in taking lessons for yourself or are interested in having your children take lessons from us, then please contact us to arrange a meeting in person. We will assess you/your child’s skills on court, then advise the best possible program for you/your child.
It is our teaching policy to meet a player in person or parents with kids who wishes to take lesson/s before we offer lesson/s. In this way we can offer and advise the most beneficial programs to the person and parents.
There is a saying that a bad habit developed at 3 years old will stay until one is 80 years old. We believe it is so important to learn the right basic skills at the beginning when you are a new player. Therefore, it is our teaching policy to meet the player/the child’s parents before we offer lessons. This way, we will be able to advise the most beneficial program for each individual.
